Dear Friend:

I’m writing to update you on some of the exciting things taking place at ChristLife. And to personally thank you for your support -- which is bearing abundant fruit in the lives of thousands of people throughout the United States and around the world!

Perhaps there’s never been a time of greater urgency to strengthen our witness and to proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord! After all, in this season of confusion in the Church ... economic difficulty ... and international political strife many souls are longing for the kinds of answers and security that can only be found in the Good News.

Of course, faithfully delivering the good news to hungry souls is exactly what ChristLife is all about. We cannot accomplish this work alone! We must rely on the prayers and generosity of faithful partners like you who have a passion for proclaiming the Good News in this essential and critical work.

And you can be confident that, as our partner, you are personally helping us advance the work of the new evangelization ... by training workers for the vast mission fields where we all live, work and love each day.

You’ll be glad to know that, right now, we’re developing a brand new course for lay Catholics – that’s designed to give the average person greater confidence and competence in sharing the Gospel with friends and family. It’s called Witness + Word, Sharing God’s Story Your Way.

After all, people can know great joy in sharing the Gospel, especially after they’ve learned how to prepare for evangelism through prayer ... how to depend on the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit ... how to seek opportunities to reach out ... how to connect Gospel stories to everyday circumstances ... how to integrate new believers and those returning to faith into the sacramental life of the Church, and much more.

The Witness + Word pilot program was extremely successful. And participants let us know they feel equipped to share Christ with others, saying things like, “I’ve learned to be bolder in my faith, to take the next step and to be aware of opportunities to share my experiences of God’s love and the Gospel”.

In the coming year, Witness + Word will be distributed in video and audio formats… and will include leader and participant manuals. Based on the many requests we’ve received, we believe that this course can and will make a meaningful contribution to advancing the essential mission of the Catholic Church.

As you know, this new production is just one of many evangelism tools available from ChristLife. We continue to fulfill requests for evangelism support services, training seminars, conferences, audio and video courses and much more … for dioceses, parishes and Catholic organizations worldwide.

But none of this important work is possible without you. And, each month, our financial resources are stretched to the limit … as requests for evangelism training tools and assistance pour in from around the world.

That’s why I’m humbly asking that you consider supporting this critical mission by becoming an Evangelism Partner with ChristLife … and pledging a monthly contribution. If you are already a monthly donor, please consider increasing your contribution, by even a small amount.

This may be asking a lot of you given the current economic situation. But the need is great … and the promise of continued fruitfulness is very bright … if we can simply gather the resources needed to do the work that lies ahead.

St. Paul writes of the blessings of partnership in his letter to the Corinthians:

“You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.“ 2 Corinthians 9:11

To make your monthly pledge, simply complete the enclosed Evangelism Partner Certificate and mail it together with your check. And remember, your contributions to ChristLife are tax deductible.

What We Do
ChristLife provides vision, training, and resources needed for dioceses, parishes and ministries to do the work of evangelization. We also sponsor leaders forums so that through association we are all better able to respond to the call to a new evangelization and mission to the nations.
