 --February 8, 2010 Dear Brothers and sisters, Pete here. Writing from home, due to the snowstorm. As the snow was coming down this weekend I was listening to a great song called "Winter Snow" by Audrey Assad featuring Chris Tomlin. Isaiah 55:10 talks about how God's word comes down like the "rain and snow" and this song carries this theme beautifully. If you have a minute you can listen to the song on YouTube. A beautiful reflection on the incarnation of our amazing God! I'm writing to let you know and ask for your intercessory prayer for Dave Nodar who is traveling tomorrow morning to New Mexico (away from the snow!) for a Mission of the Redeemer Seminar at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Rio Rancho. He'll be doing the seminar on Wednesday evening for parish staff and others who are local to the parish.Please pray that the Holy Spirit empowers Dave and all those who attend to really embrace the mission of evangelization with their whole hearts! A number of people have also been inquiring about the upcoming Discovering Christ conference April 15, 16 at St. Louis Parish in Clarksville, MD. The good news is later this week we'll launch the conference Web site - to include registration, a downloadable flyer, and even a video invite! So stay tuned.
