Following Christ retreat
What a wonderful weekend! Thanks to all who helped out- Dave, Ally, Brittany & especially Marg. For all who donated $ to make it happen, and who prayed for protection and the power of the Holy Spirit to be with us!
How can I share what happened for the 24 young adults? I'm hoping they will share a bit themselves in the comments below...
But here are few phrases that come to mind-
joyful praise deep prayer & reflection encounter with Jesus fresh and intimate community great food and drink beautiful weather & retreat location lots of laughter (and noise in general!) freeing discovery that we are at war sweet bonfire and smores
Thanks to Jen, Dave, and Miguel- here are a few pictures:

I really enjoyed the retreat. The weather was beautiful, the fellowship was strong and the teaching was solid. What more could you ask for - except more time together? :-)
I particularly loved the small group times and praying night prayer together.
I really had a blast as well... little Leyna slept great (thanks for the prayers) and that made it easier to participate fully. The truth that "we are at war" has totally changed me as a Christian. Now I can explain that when something goes wrong (especially in prayer) it isn’t always just my fault or God’s fault... Because I am trying to walk with God--I am opposed, it's so freeing to know!
I also especially loved watching us all bond and get closer and really start to build solid community. It's wonderful to see!
